Welcome to the Florida Association of Governmental Fleet Administrators (FLAGFA). We are a professional fleet management association exceeding 250 members from all levels of government within the State of Florida. We are dedicated to promoting and improving the fleet management profession especially within the governmental organizations of Florida. FLAGFA actively sponsors training, professional development, and education for our members and their technicians and professional staff. Our members network and exchange information and ideas continuously. Our goal is to have all Florida governmental fleet professionals as members of FLAGFA. We know that each added member will make our association stronger and enable us to provide better services to our members and to the governmental agencies they serve. FLAGFA 2008 SPRING CONFERENCE. Thanks to all our FLAGFA members for making our 2008 Spring Conference one of the best ever. With 258 attendees including over 100 Regular Members, this was also one of the largest FLAGFA conferences on record. Our agenda was jam-packed with excellent speakers and extremely interesting topics including new fleet facility construction, best business practices, fleet performance measures, purchasing through the National Joint Powers Alliance, proposed Florida diesel idling legislation, and panel discussions on bio-diesel manufacturing and use. These presentations were topped off with an outstanding vendor exhibition and insight into the 2009 offerings by the Big 4 automobile manufacturers (Chrysler, Ford, GM, & Toyota). We were also honored to have our good friends from the Space Coast Clean Cities Coalition join us at the conference. Our 2008 Fall Conference promises to be even better with a little something extra, a gala celebration of FLAGFA’s 30-Year Anniversary. Look forward to seeing you there!
